Thornley’s Affordable Home Services was started in 2013, because we needed to have a tree removed from our property that was threatening to fall on our home with the next big storm. Like most savvy homeowners, we got multiple quotes from reputable tree removal companies in Tampa, FL. The prices were all over the place, but two things were consistent: 1) They all seemed to be asking for a lot of money for the job, and 2) they were all booked for at least a week out. Instead of hiring a company, we decided to rent some equipment and remove the tree ourselves. That’s when we realized the need for an affordable, reliable, and available tree removal company in the Tampa Bay area.
We started off doing tree trimming, tree removal and stump removal. Customers started asking us if we did other things like bush hog ground clearing, junk removal and lawn care. We weren’t doing it at the time, but we could… so we did! We realized, again, that the prices and quality of work in the marketplace were not up to our standards nor the standards of our customers.
